An initial psychology session generally involves your psychologist gaining an understanding of your presenting concern/s and goals from attending, as well as some background information. This informs an individually tailored treatment plan and the amount and frequency of sessions you may need.

It is difficult to fill a spot which was reserved for you without adequate notice. Accordingly, we require at least 24-hours notice of cancellation / needing to reschedule an appointment. Appointments missed, cancelled, or rescheduled without 24-hours notice will incur the full fee, which is required to be paid prior to your next appointment. It is important to note that a rebate cannot be claimed from Medicare or private health funds for missed / cancelled appointment fees.

If for any reason you are unable to attend your appointment in person, please note you are able to change it to a telehealth appointment.
