Accessing Psychology Services

Without a referral

You are able to make an appointment without a referral. If you do not have a referral and you have private health insurance, you may like to check with your insurer if you are able to access a rebate for psychological services. For those eligible for such a rebate, please note the full fee is required to be paid at the time of your appointment, and you can then apply for the rebate from your insurer.

With a GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan

If you have a GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will be able to access a rebate for up to 6 sessions, and additional sessions can be requested, if necessary, for up to a maximum of 10 sessions per calendar year. Your GP referral can be used with us even if it is addressed to a different psychologist, as long as you have not yet started attending sessions elsewhere.

If you have a GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan, please bring them with you to your first session. Please note, the full fee is required to be paid at the time of your appointment, and the rebate will then be claimed from Medicare for you.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants

We provide therapy for NDIS participants who are either self-managed or plan-managed.

Through the Comprehensive Third Party (CTP) Insurance Scheme

We work with individuals who have been in a motor vehicle accident and are eligible as part of their CTP insurance claim to access psychological services.
